Active MoDOT Employee Representative
Sue Cox retired September 1, 2011, creating a vacancy on the MPERS Board of Trustees. Sue served as the Active MoDOT Employee representative on the Board. At the September 29th Board meeting, the Board authorized a "Special Election" to fill her position. The elected representative will complete the remainder of her term, which runs through June 30, 2014.
The MPERS Board of Trustees approved delaying the election process until March 1, 2012. The delay is premised on allowing employees, who may be potential board candidates, some additional time for the resolution of staffing changes associated with the Bolder Five-Year Direction.
