The MoDOT & Patrol Employees’ Retirement System (MPERS) is committed to ensuring that our website and digital applications are accessible to all users. Accessibility is an ongoing priority, and we are continually working to improve our platforms as new technologies and opportunities emerge. This statement reflects MPERS’ dedication to providing equal access to information and services for individuals of all abilities.

Accessibility Standards

MPERS strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which define requirements for making web content more accessible to people with a wide range of abilities and assistive technologies.

Measures to Support Accessibility

MPERS takes the following measures to support accessibility on mpers.org:

  • Incorporating accessibility into website design, development, and content updates
  • Using clear, consistent navigation and readable text
  • Providing sufficient color contrast for text and interface elements
  • Ensuring images include appropriate alternative text where required
  • Supporting keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility
  • Providing transcripts or captions for video and audio content when available

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, with improvements made as new content is added or existing content is updated.

Materials before April 24, 2026

MPERS has taken steps to meet applicable legal accessibility requirements and continues to make accessibility improvements an ongoing priority. While we make good-faith efforts to ensure accessible content, some materials on this website may not fully meet all accessibility standards. This may include materials posted before April 24, 2026, that are not fully compatible with assistive technologies.
